Step 01
Tool
Choose the instrument first. It establishes the geometry, base price, and compatible options for the rest of the build.
Step 02
Wood
Choose the species by grain, color, character, and material tier. Pricing is shown before you continue.
Foundation / Included
Base-price species selected for reliable performance and honest grain.
Workshop Woods
Core hardwoods with a modest material upcharge and strong everyday character.
Signature Woods
Elevated species with more distinctive figure, color, or material character.
Reserve Woods
Exotic and limited-availability species with the material price shown for the selected tool.
Step 03
Handle Profile
Paddles only. Choose the physical handle profile that defines the paddle silhouette. Cane profiles are fixed.
Step 04
Leather + Grip
Choose the compatible leather treatment for the selected tool. Preview each available option on the live build.
Step 05
Body Work
Add compatible surface details. Body options can stack when the selected tool supports them.
Step 06
Engraving
Keep a clean face or add text engraving. Choose the engraving path, scale, placement, and orientation, then verify the preview.
Engraving unavailable
The selected Directive Cane does not accept engraving. Continue with a clean face.
Consequence Cane / Basic Text Only
Select any of the four flat faces. Each face has one standard, lengthwise inscription and adds $20 to the build. Enter text independently for every selected face. Select Preview Face to inspect its engraving on the composite render.

Step 08
Review the Build
Verify the complete specification, selected components, and total before sending the build to cart.
