Protocol Library
Structure should be usable.
These are starting points, not universal rules. Build protocols around the people involved, the agreements you actually have, and the life you actually live.
Framework 01Rule design
- State the behavior clearly.
- Define why the rule exists.
- Define exceptions or conditions.
- Agree how failure is addressed.
- Set a review point.
Framework 02Daily check-in
- Physical condition.
- Emotional condition.
- Schedule or external pressures.
- Open obligations.
- Changes needed for the day.
Framework 03Correction review
- Identify the expectation.
- Confirm what happened.
- Separate fact from assumption.
- Choose a proportionate response.
- Review outcome afterward.
Framework 04Ritual audit
- What purpose does it serve?
- Does it still reinforce that purpose?
- Has it become automatic or burdensome?
- Does everyone still understand it?
- Keep, revise, or retire it.
Framework 05Conflict repair
- Stop escalation.
- Clarify the actual disagreement.
- Identify responsibility without role theater.
- Agree on repair.
- Update the system if the system contributed.
Framework 06Periodic dynamic review
- What is working?
- What is being tolerated rather than chosen?
- What has changed?
- What needs renegotiation?
- What should be documented for the next review?
Use responsiblyA protocol only works if the people using it understand it, consent to it, and can actually follow it. More complicated does not mean more serious.
