Course Correction Cane — Hickory

Lighter correction profile. Controlled bite. The Hickory Course Correction Cane is a straight 36-inch cane cut from 3/8-inch round stock. Its narrow profile keeps the form clean, traditional, and direct: no hook, no unnecessary bulk, and no visual distraction from the wood itself.

Hickory brings strong light-to-dark grain contrast and natural movement. On this profile, the finished piece reads as rugged, active, and full of character. Every board is naturally different, so grain direction, color depth, figure, and tonal variation will vary from the photographed example. That variation is part of the material and part of the finished tool.
